Issue We solved

Our customer wanted to save 2 original walls from the historic home previously located on site by installing them as interior walls in the larger, new home. A local contractor in Minden hired us for this specialized job, which was important for the home owners to keep this piece of history.

Our Solution

The solution was to carefully media-blast the walls, chink all of the various sized gaps in the walls to preserve the interior log walls inside of the larger log home. Due to the age of the logs, they had different sizes of spaces which required specialized chinking work by our team.

Interesting Facts

Some of spaces/caps between the logs were 7” and some 10”, the logs weren’t straight either. We are able to chink these and make them look gorgeous as new.
